But he wasn’t just standing around with a notebook - we put him to work!
We weren’t about to throw him into the pit lane to do stops or put him in charge of the scheduled pre-race engine change but there was still plenty to do.
If you noticed any blemish in the vinyl livery on the Nissan GT-R LM NISMO or if any of the wheels weren’t super clean before being bolted onto the car - that might have been down to our crew “rookie”.
